Bullish sentiment reached a new high for the year after rising 5.18 percentage points to 44.69%. To be more exact, this was the highest bullish reading since December 26, 2013, in the latest AAII Investor Sentiment Survey.

Overall, the readings for June 12, 2014, are as follows:

  • Bullish: 44.69%, up 5.18 percentage points
  • Neutral: 34.06%, down 4.21 percentage points
  • Bearish: 21.25%, down 0.97 percentage points

The AAII Sentiment Survey has been conducted weekly since July 1987. We encourage AAII members to participate in this weekly survey in which we ask where you think the stock market is headed over the next six months. The survey period runs from Thursday (12:01 a.m.) to Wednesday (11:59 p.m.).
